In 1928, a teacher founded ‘Muslim Brotherhood’ in Egypt. This religious-political organization of Sunni Muslims spread in many Arab countries. But many countries, including Bahrain, Egypt, Russia, Saudi Arabia and UAE, have declared it as a terrorist organization on charges and allegations of spreading violence and fanaticism.

Rahul Gandhi, INC President, in his out of country media interview compared the RSS with Muslim Brotherhood in terms of spreading a message of violence in the name of religion.

The BJP on the other hand, countered Rahul Gandhi’s allegations and said that it was his immaturity, incompetence and malice. Rahul Gandhi had also earlier urged the foreign media that growing unemployment and the crunched economic policy of the present Indian government may lead our intolerant youth towards forming ISIS like organizations. Rahul Gandhi said this eyeing the growing mob lynchings in India.

The BJP spokesperson alleged that the Gandhi scion was incapable of becoming a good opposition leader, leave alone becoming the PM.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi, who was targeting the Modi government from foreign soil, on Friday, also blamed the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). He compared the Sangh with the Muslim Brotherhood, which had been declared as a terrorist organization in several Arab countries.

At an event in London, Rahul Gandhi said that for the first time in India, efforts are being made to capture the institutions. He said that the RSS is trying to change the true nature of India. No other organization tries to capture or attack Indian institutions. 

However, parties like the Congress, SP, BSP and the DMK, do also after coming to power, try to overtake institutions. Rahul Gandhi said that minors and unemployed youth, who had been marginalized, were being recruited by terrorist organizations like the ISIS.
