People criticized her for seeking special attention as the families of cricketers had been asked by the BCCI to stay away until the third Test. But yet, the actress was allowed to be a part of the official event.

Anushka wore a mint colour traditional dress and was standing alongside her cricketer husband. Comments started pouring in saying, “What was Anushka doing in Team India's picture?”

A user wrote, “Why @BCCI allows someone’s wife at official tour.... Please confirm Is your team mens are at work or on honeymoon”

A troll commented, “This is insane , there should be control brought over this….if Anushka is allowed then other players wife’s or gf’s should also be allowed…I guess this is just becoz she is wife of a captain

However, there were some comments which came to her rescue by dismissing any special treatment.

Since families of other cricketer’s were spotted in London, Twitter users came up with the tweets that why none of the others were part of the event.

There were yet some other tweets asking people to not interfere into the actress’ personal life.
